Solar Powered Mp3 player

msi_solar_mp3.jpgMSI has taken its 4GB Mega Player 540 and thrown a solar panel on its backside, allowing you to recharge your audio player. It obviously will recharge faster with direct sunlight. The life expectancy of a gadget that is constantly under direct heat is contested.

It sounds like a good idea, but under practical conditions it may not be so useful.

You'll have to wait until the end of the year before you can get your hands on the solar-powered MSI Mega Player 540.
