18004-giga_th.jpgAl-Futtaim Technologies has launched gigabeat F Series, Toshiba's sleek and stylish MP3 player at GITEX.

Designed to deliver enhanced usability, including a high-resolution color display, and a comprehensive range of storage capacities, including the world's first 60-gigabyte capacity on a 1.8-inch hard disk drive, and a built-in lithium-ion battery that provides up to 11 hours of continuous play, the gigabeat F series was showcased at the Toshiba stand in GITEX.

"Toshiba has introduced the gigabeat MP3 player at a time when the portable storage of music is at its height. With gigabeat stylish looks, excellent playback, long battery life and fast synchronization, digital music lovers are sure to bring more listening pleasure to their lives" said Mr. Muralidharan, General Manager, Al-Futtaim Technologies.

Toshiba's gigabeat is small enough to slip into a shirt pocket but large enough to carry a library of songs. The 60GB model has the capacity to store up to 15,000 pieces of music. With an on-screen guide and plus-sign shaped touch sensor control, the gigabeat connects to any PC and is also capable of burning an entire CD.

The gigabeat comes with a 2.2" QVGA LCD screen with over 32,000 colours, 240 x 320 DPI resolution, a JPEG picture viewer, 29 equalizer settings and 'SRS Wow'. Accessories for the gigabeat include a cradle with CD RipREC, USB out, AC in, line out, AC adaptor, USB cable and ear-buds.
