Review: RCA Stereo System RS2052

rca_stereo_th.jpgThe Courier-Journal has a new look on the RCA's Stereo System with integrated Lyra flash player. The player plugs in on the top and has 128 Megabytes. You can transfer mp3 files easily without using a computer, perfect for people that don't understand complex systems.

The reviewer comments: "... it has all the features that you would want in a compact sound system: a five-disc changer, a digital AM/FM tuner with 32 station presets, a clock with an alarm and a remote control.

Plus, it has two features you won't find on other bookshelf systems. One is a slot on the face of the stereo that accepts Secure Digital and other similar-sized memory cards. If you already have a portable player that uses an SD card, pop the card in and you can play the stored music as easily as playing a CD"

Transferring files is a one button step: "To transfer music from a CD to the portable player, just insert the disc and press the button marked Record on the front of the stereo. When the disc is finished, you'll have a digital copy on the portable player."
