New: Cowon A2 PMP mp3 and video player

Cowon (Korea), has launched the 20 and 30GB Cowon A2 PMP with 4-inch 16:9 TFT LCD. The player supports DivX, XviD, MPEG4 and WMV9 video, as well as MP3, OGG, WMA(ASF) and WAV audio files. An AV input adapter allows for the recording of video and audio, with the possibility of schedule recordings. The picture viewer supports JPG, PNG and BMP image files, which can also be played back with music in a slide show.

The A2’s display is not only wide, it features a 0.183mm pixel pitch with 160,000 colours (sharp and clear), the JetEffect sound field allows for BBE sound effects to simulate various environments. It's battery life is 10 hours for video and 18 hours for audio, with a 5 hour charge. It's expected to retail in North America soon.
