Review: Apple Mini-Ipod 4 GB

Read on for my personal review on Apple's Ipod Mini mp3 player.

I got my Ipod for the following advantages:
- It has a small form factor, it fits comfortably in a pants pocket.
- 4 gb is enough space for my favorites songs and albums
- There are a lot of accessories made specifically for Ipod or mini-ipod

But I do have to say there are quite a few cons:
- It supposedly had games to play with, but they’re not good enough
- It supports notes, but reading on it is very crimped.
- The sliding interface is quite nice, especially to quickly sift down through a list, but it’s not sensitive enough sometimes.
- The volume control is very annoying. You must be on the ‘Now Playing’ menu to be able to change it! Sometimes you are browsing your list and you’re unable to change volume.
- The battery is notorious for becoming useless after a few months.

The best thing is to see, feel, and play with a friend’s ipod and see if it fits your needs.

For myself, I'm looking into the iRiver players or maybe a new Creative Player...
