Philips GoGear SA2825 (2GB)
The GoGear SA2825's semitransparent rounded chrome face conceals its 1-inch monochrome display and also doubles as the device's navigation control. Taking a page from iRiver's Clix series of MP3 players, Philips designed the GoGear SA2825 with squeezable edges, allowing four directions of control. Squeezing the top or bottom edges of the GoGear SA2825 allows you to scroll through lists of music or FM radio frequencies, while squeezing left or right allows you to skip through songs or rotate through each of the five main menu icons (Music, Radio, Recording, Folder, and Options).

Hercules i-XPS SoundBox Portable Speaker for iPods
The i-XPS Soundbox is probably designed for those who want to chill by the pool or at the beach, or wherever, but the first thing I thought when I saw these is that they are downright fugly. The portable speaker will enclose and suffocate your iPod Nano (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), iPod Mini, iPod Classic, and other MP3 Players.
It has an integrated mini jack cable connection that connects it to the speakers through the headphone jack on the your MP3 Player. Then just zip it up to keep your MP3 player safe. It’s powered by 2 AAA batteries. I know you can’t wait to dress your iPod up as either Stone, Splash, or Spray design.
No pricing info yet as they are trying to decide how much you might pay for such vomit inducing style.

Philips GoGear SA2825
The GoGear SA2825 is one of Philips' most attractive and compact MP3 players. Available in only one color (silver) and one capacity (2GB), the GoGear SA2825 ($49) offers a healthy amount of features at an affordable price.
Design
Measuring 1.5 inches square and a slender 0.5 inch thick, the GoGear SA2825 is not just pocket-friendly--it's designed to be worn. Unlike the iPod Shuffle or Sansa Clip, the GoGear SA2825's design does not have a built-in clip; however, an included neck strap can be threaded through a loophole on the corner of the player.

Archos 705 WiFi
With a relatively large size and weight, the 705 is better suited for the road traveler rather than the average user, who might prefer a more compact solution such as the Archos 604 player.
However, users who enjoy watching videos on large screens will be pleased with the Archos 705 WiFi Portable Video Player with its 7-inch widescreen display. It comes with a 80GB capacity.
Eliminating the need for buttons, the 705 has a touch screen interface for menu navigation. Using the touch screen was intuitive and reduced our need for the supplied stylus.
Watching videos on a 7-inch screen on the go certainly made the experience much more engaging. The videos we watched on the 705 were sharp and detailed. In our battery tests, we managed to catch a full movie lasting 2.5 hours which left the battery life indicator with a single bar remaining.
The 705 is capable of MPEG4, AVI, WMV and DIVX playback but for an additional cost, you can opt for a plug-in for H.264. Using Windows Media Player, transferring media files from the PC to the device can easily be done via drag and drop.
While the 705 offers an adequate amount of audio options such as equalization and bass boosting, the volume playback by the 705 was very soft in comparison to an audio player such as an iPod. Even using the speakers did not help much.
Beside music and video playback, the 705 allowed us to surf the Internet with a built-in Opera browser using Wi-Fi. During our testing, the device handled browsing well but the lack of a physical QWERTY keyboard proved to be the 705's weakness. The touch screen keyboard is quite troublesome to use and it can never replicate the ease of a traditional keypad.
With its large wide screen dimensions, the Archos 705 WiFi makes watching videos and surfing the Internet ideal. Appealing to entertainment aficionados, this multimedia heavyweight will handle all your entertainment needs with little fuss for S$799.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze
The Fuze comes in different colours (black, blue, pink, and red) and capacities (2, 4, or 8GB). Users can also expand the memory by up to 8GB by purchasing a microSDHC card.
The Sansa Fuze shares a similar layout with the View – the screen takes up half of the player, while the thumbwheel, select button, and home button can be found right below it. The unit's microphone and microSD card slot can be found on the left spine, while the hold and power button can be found on the right spine. In addition, the 3.5mm headphone jack and proprietary connector port are both found at the bottom of the player.
The unit can be charged via USB and can also be powered up using an AC or car adapter (sold separately). The home screen comes with six main icons (Music, Videos, Photos, FM Radio, Voice, and Settings) that make the unit less complicated to use and browse.
Users can transfer music from their computer to the Fuze using the drag-and-drop method or by using music management software like Windows Media Player. The unit supports MP3, WMA, secure WMA, Audible (AA), as well as audiobooks and podcasts in WMA and MP3 format. It is also compatible with MPEG-4 videos (saved as AVI) for video on-the-go and can even display JPEG files saved on the hard drive or memory card.
