Creative Zen Mozaic review

The Creative Zen range has done well for itself, delivering what is considered among many to be one of the best sound offerings from an MP3 player. The Zen Mozaic is a twist on Creative’s range, designed to make a design statement and move away from the normal featureless plastic/metal players with some sort of circular control.

Measuring 79.5 x 40 x 12.8mm, this player is thicker than many rivals, but still small enough to slip in a pocket; it is also light enough for you to barely notice it is there. The mainstay of the "mosaic" design are the buttons, with interesting colourways reflecting inspiration from your bathroom. Yes, this is where music players and Topps Tiles come together.

Wallet Mp3 Player looks like a mixtape

081908_tf_walletmp3_front_thumbnail.jpgFor cassette tape, the format war is definitely over, but that needn’t stop you from listening to MP3s on this credit-card sized player with 4GB of flash memory that looks like a well-played mix tape.

It’s possibly the slimmest MP3 player in existence, being the same width and dimensions of a credit card and it’s certainly convenient. The player’s controls are on the other side and the double-sided USB interface means you can shove it in any PC to swap files. No wonder it’s creator Oren Reiss won the Goren design contest.
